Google+

Today Google announced Google+, their latest attempt at a social network, in a TechCrunch article. In the days to come there will certainly be articles about why it will fail, why it will succeed, or why it will implode and destroy the whole world (you think I’m kidding, just watch. I’ll write it if needed).

But for now, let’s look at what people are seeing.

We’ve gathered some interesting data here at Distilled about +1 adoption and usage across a cross-section of well-trafficked sites. I can tell you right now that a surprisingly low number of these sites (well under 50%) have adopted the +1. But you’re going to have to wait for my upcoming SEOmoz post for all those numbers
